I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and ponder the question… “What if?”. After the Marvel logo appears, it transitions into an animated form in the show’s art style. Edited by Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very straightforward episode of rushing things along to get these pieces of the puzzle in place. And my facial expressions were also pretty clear while watching this episode because there was no excitement or even logical storytelling, from what I understand, maybe it’s an animated series aimed at kids? But only those kids who are familiar with all of the MCU by now might enjoy it. Let’s see how the rest of the episodes turn out, but I’m certainly not too excited for them after this one. Edit: Episode 2 gave a real feel for what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with major WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed seeing T’Challa on screen. However, episode 3 was the deal breaker and made me edit this review. It was so exciting and thrilling to watch, I could have watched an entire movie about this episode. It re-explored the characters we know to the point of wanting more. Hopefully I’ll get 10 stars by the end of the season. Edit II: Here’s my one more star for ‘weird’ but still a compelling episode that was by far the best of the bunch in terms of writing, voice acting, animation and story. Special kudos to Benedict Cumberbatch for delivering the voice like a boss. Kudos to Marvel for pulling this off. However, by episode 5, the episode was certainly entertaining, it was witty and engaging with quality animation, but again it showed too much at the same time without giving viewers enough time to soak things in. It’s still a 9/10 overall for the series until at least the next two episodes. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me..
