When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they landed Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and planned to audition people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that he had to at least get him to Ford first, figuring he would turn him down immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being cast, which would generate interest from other big-name actors.

Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was excited nonetheless. With two episodes out right now, this show has a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and even weird at times… it’s endearing in a way that most shows aren’t, it’s reminiscent of the show’s community of these elements.

I wasn’t sure how his character would work in this show, but Rhodes’ antisocial likeness certainly seems like the kind of person Ford would encounter. pretty well, considering the scarier elements of his Han Solo character from Star Wars, he fits this show like a glove. Sean (Luke Tennie) plays a somewhat overly nice guy to Jimmy (Segel), while dealing with his own family issues with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)… What I see here seems so vivid and the possibilities are probably (?

Btw, the intro theme to this show is so good, I didn’t even skip it while watching the second episode… All in all, this is going to be a great show and I hope it gets better from here on out.
