Narrative
A grieving therapist begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making major changes in people’s lives—including his own. Check out our list of renewals and cancellations to see if your favorite show made the cut when Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked to appear on the show. When asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted someone who looked like “Harrison Ford” and intended to audition people who looked like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch the project to Ford first, thinking that he would reject it outright, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been asked to do the project, which sparked interest from other famous actors. Ultimately, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was still very happy.
Harrison Ford plays Dr
There are currently two episodes available and this show is very promising, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and even weird at times… it’s touching in a way that most shows aren’t, just reminiscent of a community show because of these elements. I’m not sure if it accurately portrays the therapist’s way of dealing with issues, but it certainly gives Jason Segel the opportunity to put his own spin on it.
Rhodes, Jason’s boss and mentor
I wasn’t sure how his character would work in this series, but Rhodes’ antisocial likeness certainly fits the personality, which Ford pulls off very well when thinking about the more disturbing elements of his Han Solo character in Star Wars, it just fits like a glove. Somehow, very believably, Sean (Luke Tennie) kind of plays the character of Jimmy’s (Segel) son while dealing with family issues with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)… What I see here seems to become so vivid and the possibilities are (?) endless when I see how Jimmy deals with these things.
And the music for this show is so good
And speaking of which, the theme song for this show is so good that I didn’t even skip when I watched the second episode… Overall, it’s shaping up to be a great series and I hope it only gets better from here.
