Narrative
A sex-agnostic podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love and discover if their relationship will interfere with their different lives and families. It was originally titled “Shiksa”, which is also the last word of the first episode. I really enjoy this series, it takes me back to my single and dating days and puts a smile on my face. It touches on very relatable and relatable topics (about dating and dating culture) in a very realistic and relatable way, and it does so in a refreshingly seamless way, like dating should be, with honest conversation, no games. Their chemistry is sweet (of course, it helps that they’re both seasoned and individually talented actors) and it’s a charming film that brings back those nostalgic feelings. Kristen Bell, I’ve followed Veronica Mars since I was a kid. And Adam Brody, my husband looked at the TV and said, It hasn’t changed since O.C., and he’s right.
