Narrative
The story of three girls trying to stay together while trapped in a sea cave filled with crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions, and monstrous elephant seals. Presented at the 9th Annual San Diego Film Awards (2023). …I had to do this for this one. It’s truly terrible. I mean, again, I’ve never cared about writing reviews until this one. I really think the children were at risk during filming. I’m pretty sure in one of the scenes where the child gets hit in the back of the head with a boogie board, she actually got hit by the boogie board! The look on the children’s faces was not acting, she was genuinely scared! Not only is this movie terrible in its storytelling, but these children were actually put in dangerous situations. I’ll take my money back. It’s disgusting to support how these directors were so desperate to make their movie that they put innocent children in absurd situations. Plus, they probably didn’t even have permission to film in these locations.
