Narrative

Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn meets one of her rare friends: a lost jaguar cub named Hope, whom she finds again. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope and move to unknown New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest to her friend for years. At the age of 14, having adapted to city life, Otem discovers that her native village is under threat from animal traders, and decides to return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anya (Emily Bett Rickards) – Otem’s charmingly clumsy biology teacher – tries in vain to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Along with Anya, Autumn sets out on a journey to find Hope and save her from those who want to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
