An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly minted rabbi fall in love; find out if their relationship will survive their very different lives and meddling families. Originally titled “Shiksa,” which is also the last word in the first episode. This show is intoxicating. The script is fun, witty, and warm. There’s great chemistry between the main characters, and all the supporting characters all add their own appreciated touch. Kristen Bell is one of those actresses who makes the best choices for what she goes along with and what she takes on, and this is no exception. This is a story that makes you want to be part of her world. Adam Brody’s character is like Seth, but 20 years later – grown up, mature, and still charmingly witty. I sincerely hope they renew the series and continue to give us more great content. One of my favorite light comedy shows of the year!
